Project Officer SES Regulation

We are looking for a Project Officer SES Regulation.

Under the supervision of the Head of Unit SES/SESAR, the jobholder will be responsible for/contribute to the following activities:

• monitor EASA rulemaking activities in the field of Air Traffic Management, Aerodromes, Airspace Usage and any other topic of relevance to Single European Sky; analyse them, identify the potential implications for military capabilities, operations, and training, and initiate, develop and implement mitigations measures in coordination with Member States;
   
• contribute to the development, implementation and update of the Military Aviation Action Plan as well as any relevant SES-related internal or external EDA documentation;
   
• ensure transversal cooperation and coordination with the other Units and Directorates of the Agency;
   
• facilitate the coordination and collaboration with external civil and military aviation stakeholders including DG MOVE, EASA, EUROCONTROL, NATO;
   
• contribute to/lead the preparation of various internal and external SES-related meetings and events as needed, such as EASA Committee meetings, EDA Steering Boards, ESMAB meetings, SES Experts Communities meetings, Military Air Traffic Controller Working Group, etc.
   
• act as military focal point for EASA particularly in the framework of the implementation of EASA-EDA joint work-programme and contribute to the regulatory activities in the framework of relevant cooperation arrangements;
   
• represent EDA in the relevant fora;
   
• take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service.

Duties may evolve according to the development of EDA’s structure and activities, and the decisions of EDA management.
