The Network sets joint priorities through its multiannual strategy and annual work programmes. These priorities define how Agencies and JUs collaborate, share resources, and align their activities with the European Union’s strategic goals.
EUAN Multiannual Strategy 2021–2027
EUAN focuses on two strategic pillars:
- EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings as role models for administrative excellence — by sharing services and expertise, members reduce costs, avoid duplication and learn from each other. The Network supports smart, data-driven and green management methods, while keeping governance agile and transparent.
- EUAN as a valued institutional partner — stronger engagement with EU institutions, clearer common positions, and a trusted contribution to EU policy priorities ensures that the knowledge and expertise of EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings inform EU decisions and ensure efficient implementation of EU policies for the benefit of citizens.
What this means in practice
- expanding shared services and joint projects that save time and resources
- promoting knowledge exchange and innovation in digital, green and operational areas
- ensuring good governance and accountability across all activities
- building closer cooperation with the European Commission, Parliament and Council
