Our diversity is our strength
EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings (JUs) are applying diversity and inclusion ethics in their work.
EU Agencies ensure equal opportunities and are committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment. They stand against any discrimination based on race, colour, nationality, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnic origin.
In their recruitment process, Agencies and JUs do not make any distinction on grounds of age, race, political, philosophical or religious conviction, sex or sexual orientation, disabilities, marital status or family situation.
Agencies and JUs share information and good practices with one another and define a common position on topics of common interest related to diversity and inclusion.
Diversity Charter
The EU Agencies Network (EUAN) is facilitating this cooperation with its Working Group on Diversity and Inclusion, which laid out the principles of diversity and inclusion in an EUAN Charter on Diversity and Inclusion.
The Charter is a commitment in favour of diversity and inclusion among the EUAN, whose staff members must benefit from equal treatment and opportunities, irrespective of any ground such as sex, race, colour, ethnic or social origin, genetic features, language, religion or belief, political or any other opinion, membership of a national minority, property, birth, disability, age or sexual orientation.
EUAN Awards on Diversity and Inclusion
The EUAN Awards on Diversity and Inclusion are an opportunity for Agencies and JUs to promote and share initiatives in the field of diversity and inclusion.
Agencies and JUs showcase their best practices in the various fields of diversity and inclusion. This initiative inspires and improves the actions of other Agencies, while boosting the awareness on this topic.
