Deputy Executive Director

To be eligible, you need to meet the following formal criteria, which need to be fulfilled by the deadline for application:

General conditions:
• Nationality of one of the EU Member States or Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, or Switzerland and you enjoy full rights as a citizen;
• Produced the appropriate character requirements for the duties involved;
• Physically fit to perform your duties;
• Fulfilled any obligations imposed on you by the laws concerning military service.

Education:
• Level of education which corresponds to completed university studies attested by a diploma when the normal period of university education is (4) four years or more
OR
• a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies when the normal period of university education is at least three (3) years attested by a diploma and appropriate professional experience of at least one (1) year.

Professional experience:
• You have acquired at least fifteen (15) years of proven full-time professional experience relevant to the duties after the award of the qualification certifying the completion of the level of studies required as a condition of eligibility as above
• Management experience: at least five (5) years of the post-graduate professional experience must have been gained in a high–level management function in a field relevant for this position.

Languages:
• Thorough knowledge of one of the 24 EU official languages (minimum at a C1 level) and
• Satisfactory knowledge of another EU official language (minimum at a B2 level) to the extent necessary to perform the duties.
