  • EU Justice and Home Affairs Agencies contribute to the implementation of the EU’s objectives in the areas of migration, asylum and external border management, law enforcement and judicial cooperation, the fight against organised crime, illegal drug use, promoting and protecting gender equality, and ensuring respect for fundamental rights. They also facilitate the functioning of relevant EU’s IT systems, contribute to EU activities on drugs and drugs addiction and facilitate law-enforcement training. These actions aim at ensuring a safer and more secure Europe, stronger common borders and manage migration in an orderly way with solidarity at its heart.

Who delivers this - impact at a glance:

Coordinates investigations of serious crimes, such as terrorism, drug trafficking and cybercrime in Europe and beyond, European Public Prosecutor’s Office (EPPO) - investigates and brings to justice crimes against the financial interests of the EU.
