Local Informatics Security Officer

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: 

We welcome applications from all candidates who meet the following eligibility criteria, on the closing date for application::

1. Have a level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma
2. Be a national of a Member State of the European Union, Iceland or Norway      
3. Be entitled to their full rights as citizen
4. Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service
5. Meet the character requirements for the duties involved
6. Have a thorough knowledge (minimum C1 level) of one of the languages of the European Union and a satisfactory knowledge (minimum B2 level) of another language of the European Union
7. Be physically fit to perform the duties linked to the post

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Professional experience and expertise:

1. Experience relevant to the tasks described;
2. Professional experience with security aspects of CIS systems, preferably those processing classified information;
3. Experience in handling classified information within a national or international environment, including issues related to the EU or national security;
4. Good knowledge (by training or experience) in the security accreditation of CIS systems;
5. Experience in financial, procurement and contract management would be considered as an advantage;
6. Excellent command of both written and spoken English;
