Project Officer SES Policy and Regulations

EDA is looking for a Project Officer SES Policy and Regulations.

Under the supervision of the Head of Unit Single European Sky, the jobholder will be responsible for/contribute to the following activities:

• monitor strategy and policy developments in the area of Single European Sky, analyse them, identify the potential implications for military operations and training, and initiate, develop and implement mitigations measures in coordination with Member States. This should contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the “Military Aviation Strategy in the context of SES” and to the implementation of the White Paper for European Defence Readiness 2030 and ReArm Europe Plan / Readiness 2030;
   
• contribute to the development, implementation and update of the Military Aviation Action Plan as well as any relevant SES-related internal or external EDA documentation;
   
• ensure transversal cooperation and coordination with the other Units and Directorates of the Agency;
   
• facilitate the coordination and collaboration with external civil and military aviation stakeholders including DG MOVE, EASA, EUROCONTROL, Performance Review Body and NATO;
   
• contribute to the preparation of various internal and external SES-related meetings and events as needed, such as Single Sky Committee meetings, EASA Committee meetings, EDA Steering Boards, ESMAB meetings, SEC meetings etc.;
   
• implement the activities related to SES Policy in the EDA-EUROCONTROL and EDA-EASA joint work programmes;
   
• take on additional tasks as required in the interest of the service.

Duties may evolve according to the development of EDA’s structure and activities, and the decisions of EDA management.
