EUAN Awards on Diversity and Inclusion

The EU Agencies Network (EUAN) celebrates every year the efforts of EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings to create inclusive, diverse and respectful workplaces. Through the EUAN Diversity and Inclusion Awards, the Network recognises actions that:

  • promote equitable and supportive working environments
  • raise awareness of diversity and inclusion across the EU public sector
  • inspire others by sharing proven and replicable good practices

In 2025, the Awards attracted 20 applications from across the Network - European Chemicals Agency (ECHA), Global Health Joint Undertaking, European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), European Medicines Agency (EMA), European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA), European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), European Union Agency for the Operational Management of Large-Scale IT Systems in the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice (eu-LISA) etc.

The initiatives submitted in 2025 address topics such as inclusive leadership, wellbeing, gender equality, LGBTIQ+ inclusion and disability awareness, showcasing the collective commitment of EU Agencies and Joint Undertakings to build a fair and representative EU public service.

Entries were submitted in two categories:

  • Outstanding Internal Initiative, for actions targeting staff and internal stakeholders
  • Outstanding External Initiative, for actions engaging external audiences or the wider public

The winners were announced on 23 October 2025 during the EUAN plenary meetings in Brussels.
